So amazing to see him again.
remember watching her perform and wishing I was on stage!
She's now an accomplished musician/composer.
wanted a photo that looked like he was directing us.
He started directing "The Lord Bless You and Keep You,"
and we all sang under his direction. It was the most touching
moment of the night, and that song was perfect because it
was the one song all ten years of show choir had in common.
Doug and I have remained close over the years.
Diane was our alto section leader. Love them both.
What a pleasure to meet him.
Chamber Singers from the class of '85... and me:)
Another highlight of the evening. I was excited to be in charge of the fashion show that night, highlighting costumes we wore in the 70s and 80s! With each costume, I told a story of something that happened that year. Show choir kids from Brea High School modeled our old costumes.
Come on Doug...
Help me sing "Turning, Turning" like we did when we performed at the prison!
Charisse modeling an 80's dress!
Bobby watching the show! I love this!
This story was when Cary offered to be Nia's partner back in 1976 and our choreographer announced, "I'm not looking for a circus act!"
What a joy to see Mr. Kessler laughing at my jokes!

I had looked forward to this reunion for such a long time! Ten years worth of Chamber Singers from 1975 - 1985! Having Mr. Kessler come as the guest of honor was such a pleasure. I loved being on the committee and meeting singers from years after me. This night was different than a regular high school reunion. This evening was reserved for those of us who had spent every waking moment together in high school rehearsing, performing, and just hanging out. Having that common bond made the night so special.
*sigh*
We all agreed there will be more:)
i love u mommie ur the best
